Mr. Aqua 12g long lighting

After spending many hours trying to figure out what I need to set up two 2.5g tanks, I came to the conclusion that its just not worth the price. At least, not when the 12g long is an option. I cannot figure out what lighting to put on it though. Does anyone know a good fixture?
I am leaning more towards the antenna style clip on lighting.

Lighting depends upon your needs. What kind of plants will you keep? Will you be using CO2? Dosing ferts daily?

The tank is shallow, so even the Marineland Double Bright has to be raised 8+ inches from the tank to achieve low light.

Finnex Ray 2 = algae farm disaster without pressurized CO2 and EI dosing of ferts.

Even a T5NO fixture will have to be raised if you don't have CO2.

I plan on using co2. But after looking up the price on some of these lights, idk what to do. $100 is reasonable, I suppose, but many of them are so much more expensive than that?

As to plants... Dwarf baby tears and a flame moss wall. Other than that, idk yet.

3 foot long of flame wall would be epic!

I really recommend Finnex ray LEDs. I bought a 12" FugeRay for my Mr. Aqua 3g and I love it and it wasn't too spendy either. (~$37) on amazon.
