12" Cube lighting
I'm setting up a 12" cube (30$ brand new, can't go wrong) as a shrimp tank, low tech and simple (AC20 filter, low light plants and mosses etc). I was thinking of doing a desk lamp + 13w CFL for lighting (already have them), but was wondering if anyone had seen something like a PAR16/PAR20 bulb over this type of tank, or even MR16s/GU10s etc. Trying not to spend tons of money on the tank, but I'm curious about trying some LED solutions on this tank. Does anyone have experiences with bulbs like that, for a tank this "small"?

Re: 12" Cube lighting
Thanks guys. I had considered the Fuge but I want the light above the tank if possible, not on it as I really like the open top. I may consider that clamp on LED though, that's not too bad. Mainly I was wondering if anyone had hung a small PAR light over a tank like this. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I want to light the tank :-)
