New tank..want to do things right

I got a Mr. Aqua tank 7 gallon cube for Christmas and I would love help and tips on setting up. I plan on using eco complete because it is easily available and pretty affordable. I also plan on making it a low light low maintenance tank. I have many pieces of driftwood that are small so nothing too large (though i think i would have to look for a "centerpiece"). I currently have anubias, small crypts, ludwigia, and a small amazon sword. The lighting I have is this

Not sure if I can go up to higher lighting plants. I would like to order dwarf hair grass for a carpet but not sure if the lighting is sufficient.

I'm clueless about CO2 so I would like not to use. I plan on only keeping a betta and a nerite snail and that is about it.

If anyone could help me I would absolutely love it!! Thank you!
