Anyone plant a Tetra 3g cube?


Wondering if the stock light would be ok for some lowlights?

Generally when they don't give you any power stats for the light in the description, it isn't great for much.

None of us can say though unless we've tried if out.

Sorry to say but I know someone with one of those and the light is basic for fish only type setups. Though I think you could easily enough pick up a desklamp or other aquarium light that clips on and would give you the proper lighting for most plants.

Something like this: search at ebay for the below.
