Spec V stock. Possible plants?

I just got a fluval spec 5. I wanted to do a low tech set up with a few live plants. Maybe anubias and java moss and some driftwood. Would the lighting be sufficient for those plants? And what type of substrate would be best?

Sure, those plants will do fine with the stock light. Growth will be slow, but they will do ok. As for substrate, anything will do. If you don't plan on a large fish load, just simple play sand would look nice with a nice dark DW with the moss and or Anubias tied to it. I have one of these myself and am waiting till finnexx gets back to me about the upgrade light I'm looking at. Back ordered.

I'm not sure what light the spec 5 has but anubias and java moss are two of the easy plants to grow because they don't need much light to grow.
