Hi gang

I have a tank similar to this. I'm wondering if this light bulb on Amazon will do the job in terms of delivering enough light for my plants:
http://www.amazon.com/89091-15-Watt-...9414948&sr=8-1

GE, FLE15HT3/2/D/CD, 15W, 120V, Compact Fluorescent Bulb, Medium Base, 60W Incandescent Equivalent, 900 Lumens, 8,000 Hours, Daylight Color = 6,500anddegree. Kelvin Temperature, CRI = 82, 4.8" Nominal Length, Minimum Start Temperature = 5anddegree. Fahrenheit, Lasts 8 Times Longer, Lasts Up To 5 Years Based On An Average Of 4 Hours Per Day Use, Saves Up To $36 Dollars In Energy Costs Over Life Of Bulb, Energy Star Rated.

Thanks

That is INCREDIBLY overpriced. Just look locally at everyplace that sells light bulbs. I was able to find a 6 pack of 60w equivalent 6500k CFL's at a grocery store in my small town for 10 bucks. Even though neither Home Depot or Lowes had them.

Just gotta keep looking & you will save some money.

Also for a tank this size you probably dont need that much depending on how close it will be. Walmart sells 9w (40w equivelent) 6500k bulbs for 6 bucks a pair.
