Has anyone had any luck with the DYMAX IQ3 tanks... With plant growth/health in particular??

I bought one for my girlfriend for her birthday.

I set it up as a lazy planted tank...

For the substrate I used Seachem Flourite Red.
That, and 8 hours of the light that comes with it seems to keep the plants healthy and happy.
Growth is steady.
Even the hair grass has started to send out some runners...

The only issue I had with the tank was the flow rate of the filter pump. It was much too strong, but that is easily changed by twisting the nob thing on the pump.

They can support plants for sure.

Great lookin IQ3. I have been interested in these for a while. Are you running 3 LED fixtures on there?

Yeah - one really doesn't cut it, two will certainly work but I am all for high light when dosing CO2 and ferts.

The second shot has too much algae in the tank because I hadn't added amano shrimp yet. I have another pic of it trimmed up:
