Need help scaping 2g cubes!!

Each of my Bettas has his own ADA Do! Aqua 20cm (2gallon) cube. Both have the same HOB filter and the same heater and the same 9w CF light.

The first has been up and running for a year. It has a nice piece of driftwood in the center with a decent growth of java fern and an anubias nana on it. In the back corner is some Mayaca fluviatilis with some rotala 'mini' type 3 in front of it.

Pic

The 2nd cube isn't setup yet, it arrived broken and I just got the replacement. In the meantime the Betta was put in a standard 2.5g. His driftwood is an arch with some singapore moss and anubias nana petite and a small java fern daughter plant from the other tank on top. He has a crypt wendtti red and some dwarf sag. I also got some blyxa japonica mixed in with the sag, but I don't know if I'll keep it.

Here is a pic

In the meantime the replacement cube has arrived and is cycling. I'd bought a bunch of plants off the forum and would like to have some kind of game plan or layout between the two tanks. Right now all the plants are just shoved in wherever they'll fit... it looks bad and some of the plants aren't happy being all bunched together with others in a corner.

So here is what I have total.

Each tank has driftwood piece shown in pictures

Between the two tanks I have
1 c. wendtii red
aprox 12 stems of Mayaca fluviatilis
aprox 20 stems of rotala mini type 2
aprox 8-10 dwarf sag
2-3 blyxa japonica
7 stems rotala nanjenshan
6 stems Rotala wallichi
6 stems rotala H'ra
5 stems rotala macrandra 'green'
7-8 stems Ludwigia senegalensis
4 stems Ludwigia arcuata
6-8 stems Bacopa sp.'Japan'
4 stems Staurogyne sp. 'Porto Velho'
1 stem lindernia varigated
3 stems T. 'belem'
3 stems T. 'Maderia'
a small bunch of H verticillata nodes

remember each is a 20cm or about 7 3/4" cube and each has it's piece of driftwood.

Thanks!
