If that is the case, I would recommend rather than buying a paintball setup for the time being and then saving more money to spend on a regular CO2 setup, that you just save up money now and hold off on buying the paintball CO2 system.

Pressurized CO2 should be something that you invest once in, properly, and then that should be the end of that.
