One Last Try~Dario Dario Juveniles

I received six juvenile dario dario today. They are teeny tiny, and came in great shape! This is my last try at keeping them. I am hoping since they are juvies, and tank bred, I will have better luck. They are very active, so the shipping was easy on them , compared to some. Give me good energy guys!

Yes, they were wc. My first one was gorgeous, and a great fish. He ate bw's with gusto. He remained shy, but daily he became bolder. He jumped.
My second male was beaten by a dwarf puffer, my mistake for putting them together. I will not mention too much of what happened to the last ones, which were a pair. Let's just say they were not shipped properly.

Thanks, I hope I can do well too. These guys have each other, so hopefully that will make them more comfortable. Fingers crossed there are some females in the mix.

Good luck with them. Out of my six juvies, two of them died within the first couple of weeks, and then one disappeared. So I moved the remaining three to my 5.5 gallon cherry shrimp tank, and haven't seen them for a week. The tank is covered so they couldn't have jumped. Either they are really good at hiding or they have disappeared too I hope you have better luck!

I have just recently started running an airstone at night in the nano they are presently in. I have a feeling that since it's such a jungle, and with just a small HOB filter, there isn't much O2 at night. Getting them to eat can be a challenge as well. I am hoping they will take to live grindal worms and frozen Hikari bloodworms. I am not certain if these were flake trained at all. I need to contact the seller and find out exactly what they have been eating. Should have done that already... Thanks

Update:
I moved three juvies that survived into a 20 gal tank. Of the three, I can only find two remaining, and they are both female! They hang out together, sort of..I saw them together at feeding time yesterday. So isn't this strange, now on the lookout for a male or male[s], when most are looking for females.
