Nano Fish List

I know there is a nano fish list somewhere on the board, but I am looking for a list of fish that does not get bigger than 1", but a lot of those fish on the list does.

Is there a list with fish all <1"? Otherwise, do you guys have any recommendation for fish <1". I am looking for fish in a 5.5g (why I wanted it so small), and preferably schooling fish..

So far, I only know spotted rasbora and ember tetra, but I can't seem to find them anywhere locally (in Canada)

ooo... less than an inch?

Paedocypris fish at 7.4mm

See also the Lebetus guilleti at 24mm:

Though he's kinda ugly...

um... Green Neon Tetras Paracheirodon simulans are supposed to get to 2.5cm (one inch)

And they're currently MY favorite tiny fish. I just bough a bunch of them for my 20 gallon tank, and I think they're more attractive than the standard neons.

And after about 20 minutes of looking online, this is all I've got for ya. I'm sure others will pipe in and try to entice you with shrimp. ;-)

Boraras Micros and Boraras Merah are both very nano fish and under one inch. You can probably keep a school of 6 of them in a 5.5G tank.

I have an ADA Mini M tank which is about 5 gallons. I bought my boraras merah and boraras uropthalmoides from Frank's Aquarium. They are about 1/2 inch long and I have 10 in my tank. Sometimes they school loosely and sometimes they swim around the tank by themselves. They definitely don't school like cardinal tetras or harlequin rasboras in a larger tank.

they aren't schooling cause many fish won't school without a semi-aggressive fish in the tank where they need the protection of the school. you can always force them to school this way.
