I have been going over stocking ideas in my head for a few days for a planted 20 gallon long I just started. It will be heavily planted with moderate Co2 and medium-high light plus a moderate amount of floaters. The tank will be over-filtered, but with reduced flow through an elongated spray bar.
Here is what I have so far:
10x Celestial Pearl Danio (Max 3/4")
04x Female Amano Shrimp (Max 2")
06x Pygmy Cory (Max 1.3")
06x Ember Tetra (Max 3/4")
I am trying to keep everything as micro as possible. I can reduce the CPD's to 6. I only ordered 10 because the were cheap and were being sold in 10 packs plus I like to order double just in case of transit deaths. I probably don't need to reduce though as I don't see them taking up much space or bio-load.
I was originally worried about what fish I would pair with the CPD, since they seem to be a docile/timid species, and ultimately decided on Ember Tetras. I was also debating going for micro rasbora (Chili, Dwarf, Strawberry, etc) instead of the Embers but I liked the color of the embers better overall.
Is there anything I am overlooking?
Pictures are not mine, just using them for a color reference
