ease of breeding zebra danios?

im wondering how easy/difficult it would be to breed zebra danios. i have seen fry at a pet store i once worked at, and the fry grew up. so i know its possible.

my interest comes from looking at those 5$ glowfish (GM zebra danio). i think i heard somewhere that they are infertile, however i recall an article stating that someone illegally bred some glowfish in Europe. so it seems that it is certainly possible.

can those orange/red glowfish be bred? would the young look like the parents?

ill look around in google, but any information provided here is greatly welcome. thankyou!

heh. i have my question answered. aparently its easy to breed zebras, usually resulting in a few hundered fry. and also, the glofish are able to breed, but are illegal to distribute...

As far as I know they are fertile (i think the website said they were all bred from a few original ones). Yes the young should look like the parents. I don't have any experience breeding them though.
