(my webserver goes down at midnight, so these may be unavailble for a little while)
I didn't want to kill the resolution on the pics, nor did I want
to resize them all and have them look generic. I also didn't
correct the hue...and yes, the lights do have a distinct green
hue...but it's exaggerated by the pics. The first few pics are of
Sicyopterus gobies. It seems not many people are familiar
with them (me either), so I focused a bit on them. The first
pic is a female, the second and third are of the male...the third
showing the male with display colors and the prominant dorsal fin.
The fourth shows some detail of the mouth. You can see their
teeth have evolved and fused into two scrapers. I forget if there
are similar scrapers on the top jaw...I think so.
I took some crappy video of them doing their thing. They are
by far the best algae-eaters I've ever owned. PERIOD.
(green tint VERY exaggerated...my fault in this case)
So, here you go...all of them taken tonight....
And do me a favor...if you reply...please hit the return key often
...that way we don't have to scroll over to read your post. I realize
it's my fault, but I post these, for the most part, at full resolution
for your benefit...so no complaining
