Hey everyone,

So i got a breeding container setup in my tank and have successfully got eggs scattered from cardinal tetras. I would like to know more info on how often to feed them and what are simple foods i can use.

Do to eggs absolutely have to been in the dark or will they hatch and develop in limelight or dim settings?

Any other info, i would appreciate :) thanks!

i have not breed cardinals but have breed angels and columbian tetra. the eggs will hatch and have a yoke sack attached to them for a little bit could be a few hours to a couple days. the hard thing will be getting food that is small enough for the fry to eat. you will probably need things like micro worms as most egg laying fish the fry will not really take man made food at first so they need something live and small.
