GREAT idea for a thread!

I Love my pair of Bolivians. They are curious and not shy at all in my opinion. My male is the dominant fish of the tank but he doesn't rule with a iron fist (or jaw). He actually nipped at me while doing a water change, this was just before breeding and I have photos and a video of the ritual.

Here are a few pics:

Nice yellow JerSaint. Beautiful!

I'm going to pick up some dithers tonight to see if I can get them to come out from behind the driftwood in the tank.

Here are some shots of my old ones (I no longer have them), but they did breed like crazy though! They are really cool fish!

Love my rams, they were one of the "must have" fish when we started our 55gal almost a year ago.

Have 4 boys - not on purpose, tried to pick 2 and 2 but evidently the LFS just had boys. They've grown up nicely, and for the most part get along ok. Definitely one is lowest on the totem pole, poorer colors than the others. Tank is fairly heavily planted tho, so they have places to avoid each other.

I have 4 bolivian rams, and 1 electric blue ram in my 40b. Planning on adding another electric blue. My electric blue seems to think hes a cory somtimes. Its funny to watch him scavange the bottom with the corys, lol. My bolivians were a little camera shy, but these are best pics I could get. Enjoy

I love Bolivians, I had 6 of them. They were given to my at the age of 2yrs. They never bothered anyone in the tank and just a few head buts btwn themselves. Hope the pictures went through. Everyone's pic's are so nice, really beautiful Bolivians.

I picked up 10 green neon tetra, 5 prestilla tetra. Those along with the 5 cherry barb, 5 sarpeas and 6 otto have really brought the females out. They are coming up to the glass and going for food at the middle. Sebastian still doesn't want any of it. Hes happy in his corner I guess. What's everyone's food of choice? Mine get daily flakes and an algae wafer broken up twice a week.

Mine were fed NLS small fish formula daily and PE Mysis frozen 2 or 3 times a week. Their breeding really picked up when I started supplementing the mysis.

I usually mix it up with frozen brine shrimp, flakes, pellets, and occasional blood worms. Not very many of my fish like the blood worms. Everybody loves the frozen brine shrimp.

So I had to take more pictures, lol . These guys are friendly and curious. Every time I put my hand in the tank, or clean the substrate. There right there checking out whats going on. My bolivians let me pet them sometimes . My electric blue had to get up in the picture, lol. Enjoy

I switched some plants around and added a layer of black sand. Its been 24hrs and they are out and about showing more color.

I love these guys. I still had the tank scaped for the convicts.
