Can anyone ID this fella

If I ever figure out how to take aquarium pics I will get some good ones for you'all
Can anone ID the orange fish in these pics?

Can't keep air plants alive so let's try planted aquariums. I probably won't over water these.

Gold barb indeed. A friend of mine has a small school of them, biggest one he has is about 3 - 3.5 inches. If you can, pick him up some friends - they really seem to enjoy schooling.

i wish they sell them where i live... they look pretty cool.. I have cherry barbs instead. I like them too.

I had 6 about 5 years ago, this is the sole survivor and the wife doesn't really care for them. He will be around until the end comes.

I have never seen them with the red coloration. The LFS by me has them in different sizes but I am assuming the redish coloration comes with a mature fish.

a mature MALE cherry barb will be viberant red. females= bland
