New Albino Bristlenose. Sick?

I recently acquired one of these guys from petco.

I'm not going to lie the local petco is a horrible place to get fish. Tanks are full of dead bodies.

Now once I got him home my girlfriend decided to drop him right in my 29. Always a good idea right.....

I quickly pulled him out (within 2-3 mins) and have him in a little 1 gallon QT tank.

I managed to get some good pics before I ripped him out of the tank (ich is not something I want to deal with in that tank)

He seems to have fin rot. Which I knew at the store, but what worries me is the coloration on the top fin. Anyone have an idea of what that is? I'm hoping its just fin rot. It would be a nightmare if it was ich. That would mean my 29g is in jeopardy just for the few minutes he was in there

Have to give me the benefit of the doubt guys my first pleco here not to mention it being albino lol. I REALLY appreciate all the responses.

Breathing fine. Just Skittish to early to tell on eating habits. But seems perfectly healthy.

Every fish in the tank came to inspect him including the Rainbow shark. All 5 bettas crowded around him for quite while.

No issues whatsoever.

I was unaware that the white markings on the fins were normal. But I am relived to hear it.

His tail fin has minor rot on it but nothing extreme. That will fix itself in time.

These fish seem all but bullet proof. Ansistrus need a place to hide and some form of wood they can rasp on to supplement their diet. They will eat almost anything. Having kept them now for several years the type of wood doesn't seem to matter. Tough as these fish are water quality can cause fin damage. As others have already posted the one pictured looks like a healthy short fin.

I have an enormous piece of driftwood in my tank. So he should do just fine

Fish is fine. Normal[brown] version has spots, the yellow/white you see in the fins is the same brown spots turned 'albino'. Normal.
