cool beans, we are looking at another small school, like 5 tetra or so since we decided to build a community for a fullmoon betta. if not we may get one or two sword tails to go in there. we'll have to see what the shoppe has. either of those seem like enough??
Also as per our parameters, we were only able to find the colour change strips, and everything came out blank, we got an ammonia reader for the tank, it seemed like the most cost effective, and it has not changed colour at all after several hours. not sure if that means anything. The strip we tested showed everything at zero or near there, and that our water was at the maximum level for hardness. Do you think we need to soften it?? my research has led me to believe that bettas prefer softer water. so should we do it in preparation??
Remember, a dead fish can float downstream, but it takes a live one to swim upstream.
