who is this African fellow?

A rescue fish said to be blue as a juvi with Dark blue/black stripes. He is afraid of nothing! Including me!

They look very similar as adults then.

No, not really, Yellow labs don't have stripes on their body, and most of the time sport a black stripe on their dorsal fin.



Keynis, females are blue with stripes, while males are yellow with stripes.

That looks just like him! I picked "him" because he had an egg spot or 2. Cool his name is gonna reflect his nipping habit Ken as in "kenyee git mah finger?"

Kenyi and yellow labs don't _act_ the same, either. Yellow labs are pretty mild-mannered for mbuna, but kenyi have a reputation as stone cold finrippers. Pretty sure they get bigger than labs, too.
