Yep, been leaving zucchini actually, a fresh slice every other day. I only put a cucumber slice on the first one. They seem to be fine, and I've had them for nearly a week now. The most I've ever seen them do is seeing one grazing on a leaf, move onto the zucchini for a few secs, then swim off. I did notice that the outer skin of the slices looked ragged (as in something was eating into them into the layers beneath). I thought they might have been eating them overnight until I noticed 5 pond snails on one of them. Now I'm not sure if only the pond snails are eating it or if both are doing it.

Upon walking by the tank, I noticed one of the otos appeared to be actively eating the softer interior of the zucchini slice, so this gives me hope that the the other two are doing so as well when I'm not around.

Otos rarely breed. I wouldn't expect anything.
