Good snail eater?

My friend has a 35 gallon tank with a pleco (not sure what species) and a bunch of mollies. A few snails hitchhiked in with some plants and now there are a few hundred of them. Is there a fish she could get that would help with the snail infestation? Larger loaches would not be an option as I'm pretty sure the tank is close to being overstocked, and she has already tried a puffer but it attacked her other fish so she had to take it back.

Peacock eels do wonders for snails and they look cool. I had one in my 46 for a couple of years. Sadly I lost everything in the tank to a foolish mistake. Now I have shrimp in the tank so can not get another one.

I used to keep an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

If bio load is an issue, assassin snails would probably be a better choice than a snail eating fish.

zebra loach is small and eats snails. I like the assassin snail best in this situation though.

Get 2 assasins, and reduce feeding by 25% and you should be ok!
