Question otos vs. pygmy corys in 4 different small tanks HELP...

i'm debating getting either zebra otos or pygmy corys for a small tank of mine

(i have 4 small tanks)

tank 1for CPD/boraras merah
i assume oto would be better as the corys could freak out the CPD

tank 2 for a grourmi / scarlet badis (dario dario)
??? no idea... small tank though
maybe just snails?
(the scarlet would be new too)

tank 3 endlers (who should be called never ending endlers as they ALWAYS have babies)
common oto?

tank 4 - betta - or remove betta add some scarlets????
betta is always hungry (or just likes to be mean and eat everything in his tank including snails)
???
something for alge control? ... it shares a light with my endlers tank and that has shrimp so needs some alge. and as i thought this tank might have snails in it i planted high light plants (he killed all the nerites i put in)

NOTE: he is currently in a bowl as he was 'pissy' and ate all his top and tail fins because i was busy for a day or two and didn't sit with him for hours while working from home... he likes the bowl as he is (or was) a double tail half moon and any current blows him around... might leave him there (so easy to clean)

1 6 gallon
1 2 gallon 8" cube
1 10 gallon endlers tank
1 betta

you can see more photos here the 4 8" cubes are on flicker... will get to their journal at some point (they are fun as they change often)

They are very different. One will cost $11-$16 each, the other will cost $3-4. One is two to three inches, the other is just around one inch. And of course there's much much more. You didn't even tell us the sizes of the tank, which is very important.

3 gallons is too small for just about everything except maybe Dario dario.
