Will Otos be a good fit in my tank?
My tank 66 gallon, 4 foot long, eheim 2215, koralia 750 gal/hour power head. The temperature is about 24-25 C (but can be easily adjusted to suit the fish), the pH is 7-ish, and the water is very soft. The tank has been established for almost a year now and the water seems to be pretty stable.
My stocking plan:
10 congo tetras
6 Australian rainbow fish
5 kuhli loaches
Is this good? I have heard that otos are hard to keep, that they may starve.
Right now I have some green hair algae and some diatoms on the glass. I am leaving it because I am hoping to get the otos on Wednesday when we go into town.
Do you think, if the otos should do ok in my tank, that 5 is a good number?
