Potential ich and CO2

Hello, I recently introduced a dozen marble hatchetfish into my main tank after 6 weeks in quarantine. I turned the co2 off the day before introduction. There were 6 hatchets in the tank before I put the new ones in and they established a pecking order resulting in some nipped fins. The tank is a farly heavily planted 340 gallon so I'm not concerned about a little chasing. After I tured the lights back on I noticed 2 of the hatchets had a white spot on there tailfins in addition to some pecking damage. I feared ich so I increased the temp to 83*. It's been over three days and there are still just the one spot on 2 different fish. Wouldn't it gave spread if it were ich? I haven't turned the co2 back on, would it hurt if I do so? Thanks.

Raising the temperature speeds up the life cycle so if you did have ich, I would guess that the parasite is going under its next stage (where it drops into the substrate and grows into its free swimming form). If you didn't have ich then I'm not sure

I would be wary about CO2. I did not have it on when I was treating ich, since at higher temperatures the solubility of oxygen decreases. It may not be by a substantial amount but for me I guess better safe than sorry
