What do you feed?

What kind of food do you feed your Betta? Do they eat flake food?

There is food especially for Bettas at most LFS, you'll find both flakes and pellets. Also I know they accept many live foods.

Flakes are fine but a diverse diet is what most recommend. I fed my guy pellets, flakes, frozen blood worms and brine shrimp(he loved both). I also gave him a blanched pea once a week to help flush his intesties. It's suppose to help fishes with thier digestive systems. GL

He don't want to eat flakes. He just looks at them. Maybe I'll try brine shrimp or pellets maybe both.

Did you just get the betta? It just might take some time he'll eventually eat but a variety might help you to see what he prefers. My Apistos hate daphnia but others swear by it. Really depends on the fish more than anything else.

Might be the flakes or like I said it could just be the fish. Try foods made specially for bettas that may help. Otherwise live or frozen should work.

Try new life spectrum, 1mm. It's what I feed all my fish [of various sizes], and they all love it!

50g, 45g, 15g, 10g, 2x2.5g, 2g bowl

Feed them a variety of foods. They'd like a little frozen brine shrimp too. Don't feed too much.

All my fish and ghost shrimp were going crazy eating the pellets. I never saw them eat like that before not even with flake food.
