When you say there are two laying eggs, I 'm confused maybe. Have you watched closely? If there are two laying the eggs, there's a big problem! Do you see one laying and then the second hovering over and spreading sperm? It is possible to have two females lay eggs. Doesn't work for very long that way, though.
If there are other fish, especially catfish who eat at night, it will be better to give them a "private room" by sectioning off the end or removing the other fish if you can. First time is iffey at best but fear not, they will come around again soon and that will give them practice and you time to be better prepped. Nature is grand!
