CAEs are not Loaches.
Do not add any fish to an uncycled tank.
Can you provide the Latin name of the fish you are thinking of adding? Is Acostamos a common name?
If you are referring to a Plecostomus, do not add a Common Pleco to any tank less than a couple of hundred gallons. There are several species sold as Common Plecos. They range in size from a foot to 2 feet long.
It is sort of like getting a cow because you have a few weeds in the back yard. Sure the cow will get rid of the weeds, but the mess!
At this point I would:
Do the fishless cycle. Do whatever you need to to get the tank fully cycled. That is top priority right now.
Clean the glass by hand.
Maybe make ONE change at a time to the fertilizer regime, and see if that helps. But remember that the fishless cycle involves adding ammonia to the tank, and everything else might be in good balance already, and you are just waiting while the bacteria grow. Once the bacteria colony is established the algae might go away on its own.
