Do any aquatic creatures eat planaria?

I decided to do a "fishless" cycling with the 2nd tank, so I threw in a piece of fish and have amped the temperature up to 86 degrees.

Well, the fish rotted. I also noticed planaria swimming around, but mostly attached to the walls.

Does there exist any creature that eats these things? Would a betta enjoy them as a meal?

I'm assuming by planaria you mean nematodes, tiny threadlike white worms. Fish love them (: As soon as you put fish in the tank they'll go nuts hunting for them and you'll never really see them again.

I have not found a fish that eats them yet.
But since you do not have any fish in the tank, no planaria will kill them. I have used that in a 2 1/2 gal and it wiped them out. It also kills snails and even so I did 2 complete water changes it is still not save for snails.
