Pearl Gourami too skinny?

Hello, I dont know why but one of my pearl gouramis got really skinny but it is still eating. I sometimes notice its skin peeling or some clear fibers are clinging onto it. This has happened to a pearl gourami I owned in the past as well. Here is a picture:

Here is another pearl gourami in my tank currently.

Is this gold gourami healthy? It seems that all of my fish got skinny since I got them from the store (about half a year or so.)

My fish are in a 29g planted tank. There is relatively no aggression in the tank unless it is feeding time when the gold and male pearl would chase other fish away from them. I feed them once everyday, occasionally skipping some days with new life spectrum medium pellets.
Stock list:
3 Red eye tetras
2 Moonlight Gourami
2 Pearl Gourami
1 Gold Gourami
3 Mickey Mouse Platy
3 Amano shirmp
a few unknown shrimp
quite a bunch of MTS snails

I want to get some sparkling gouramis but I already have a dwarf neon blue male gourami and people have told me if you have more than one gourami in the same tank (no matter what species) they will fight and was just wondering why yours aren't and maybe some advice on if I should get the sparkling gouramis.

What products do you recommend to get rid of parasites?

Im gonna say that it's parasite related since it looks like it's skinny throughout the body.

i used seachem paraguard on fin rot and mild ich (which is an external parasite) and it worked well (multiple doses required though), but i don't think it's supposed to work on INTERNAL parasites, and if your fish is getting skinny but eating, then they're probably internal...
when my mom and i team-kept guppies and goldfish, we'd give them anti-parasite food pellets which kept them generally worm-free. i'm not even sure if companies still make those, though.
