Laetacara curviceps fry/current stocking

Hello all,

I posted a stocking suggestion a few months ago for my 50b and member LB79 suggested getting some South American Dwarf Cichlids to finish off my stocking scheme.

I've decided to go with Laetacara curviceps! I've got my LFS on the hunt for some, since they've never stocked them before. The guy at my LFS suggested that they would be interested in any fry- should my pair spawn.

I know it's not guaranteed that they'll spawn, but I'd like to be ready anyways. I have a little 3 gallon tank sitting around, that I used for a quar./hospital tank for my old 10g.

Would this tank be ok to hold fry in, until I unload them at my LFS? I already have sponge filter setup ready to go for it.

My other option would be to grab a little 5g, for a couple more gallons if necessary. I don't have a ton of room under my current stand- where the tank will go.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Oh! And here's my newest stocking list
-14 Glowlight Tetras
-8 Silver Hatchet Fish
-7 Black Skirt Tetras
-7 Peppered Corydoras
-6 Oto cats
- **Soon to be 4-6 Laetacara Curviceps**

That'll probably max out my stocking (give or take a couple more hatchets and black skirts).
