I'm setting up a new 75 gallon. I'd like to use only Flagfish (Jordanella floridae). About how many could comfortably live in the tank?

I'd probably go a bit more female heavy like 1:3 or 1:4 m/f, bc some male Killifish can be quite pushy about breeding.
I'd understock the tank, I always find it easier that way. One side will be planted heavier, the other side of the tank will be more open, so I'll go female heavy just incase.

I might recommend hardier plants... these guys enjoyed ripping up my DHG and snacking on it.

The tank will have Java Fern only. They should leave Java Fern alone, right?

These guys will eat hair algae, and fine-leaved plants. Just an FYI
I thought they ate Black Beard Algae? Do they eat both, or just Hair Algae?

If you've got plenty of hiding spots/plant coverage and such you're probably fine with the 1:2 ratio suggested above.
