I have a hair algae problem growing on my amazon swords and dwarf sag but nothing to bad on my tank glass. I read american flagfish do great with hair algae but require temos from 66 to 72 degrees. My tank is at 78. Will they be okay?
I had been considering getting some a while back but decided not to when I saw a lot of feedback on how aggressive they can be. Some people say they devour hair algae and some say they take the easier meal and eat the food you put in the tank. Some say they are great algae eaters and some say they won't touch hair algae. Seems like its really the luck of the draw with the FFF.
