Hi all,

Theme for this meet: Ferts!

Met at LES and walking to the 5 LFS in the area.

More photos here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.125229287631979&type=1

Start point at Pacific Aquarium on Delancy @ 2:30pm

Pacific aquarium, 123 aquarium, 38 aquarium, Win tropical and Aquastar on the tour route. We are still looking for indoor options on where to swap.

At this meet, the theme will be dosing. Anyone who's able to help put together sample packets to share great. Due to the short time and the other tours of late, i'm not sure if i can order and pack all this stuff to distribute as i had in the past for the clay and floaters so i'd ask if some of the other forum members can help out here or step up to help.

Been thinking of holding a raffle for a prize. Maybe we can sell tickets for $.25 - $3 depending on the value of the prize and number of people attending. drawing to be conducted by a random stranger passer by out of a hat or bag. Any interest, please speak up. could be anything like a bottle of prime, ferts, or anything people may want to contribute.

As always, the invitation is extended to everyone who has expertise or interest in the hobby or just like pretty fishes and shrimp. Murderers and hooligans need not apply.

Looks green to me!

Albert, what I have are empty IV fluid bags and IV drip sets. There is a roller style clamp on the drip line that lets you adjust how fast the rate is. Hang it up somewhere and gravity does your work for you. The only tricky part is filling the bag since the opening is small; I get by with a 60 cc syringe (yes, I have those too), but it can get messy if you're not careful.

oh really? lol. Never knew that. Well I promised Dr. Tran that I would buy some Daphnia from him soon to get rid of the green water lol. That's why I was hoping I could save the green water for you guys till sunday. I don't know if the water will last if I kept it for a week in a bottle.

Here are some options...

If everyone prefers to meet this weekend, it will have to be outside of LES for both safety and convenience due to recent events. Flushing may be a suitable location but the touring will be limited to northern aquarium and food or bubble tea.

If everyone is okay with postponing till next weekend, then the venue can remain and we will shift to 11/11/12. Hopefully the mta will have all commuter services and stations back online

Alternatively, GCAS has their meeting and auction next wednesday so that is also another venue to meet. Please chime in on preference or which you can attend for consensus.

I'd prefer that we postpone it to the 11th. A lot of people still don't have power and I'm not sure how people are going to get to Flushing if the 7 train isn't running this weekend. If you guys meetup on Wednesday, I probably won't be able to make it, along with some other people.
