Safe Epoxy Resin Coating..?

Hello,

I am starting a small project for a 5.5 gal that I have sitting empty in the corner.

I want to use it to start as a small grow out tank for my other larger tanks. But I got this cool theme in mind you could say. I really want to make it a Superboy tank (for a betta maybe...???). I have these really cool circle sunglasses that look just like the ones Superboy wears in the comics from the 90s.

I figured I would need to do something to them for safety, and immediately thought of clear coating them with resin. But before I did that I wanted to check with some people who most definitely know more than I do about the subject before I totally fudged anything.

Thanks!

I've seen 2 products used before. Polygem and the second is krylon fusion, for your purpose make sure it's clear coat. I've personally never used it in my aquarium so I'd recommend doing some research on both.
