CO2 & Soda Question

Has anyone ever tried just adding yeast to a bottle of non-diet soda (after mixing a glass or 2 with vodka to lower the level)?

OMG i would hate to smell that after a week or 2. would probaboly smell like dirty diapers wraped in burnt hair. probably would not work to well because of all the preservatives and chemicals and such.

With what purpose in mind?

Seriously, no. I don't think soda would be good because of the low pH, which is part of what eventually kills the yeast.
