OK, so I know this is a freshwater forum, but I put together this auto top-off system I am pretty proud of. Not to mention when I do water changes on my plant tank, I use half RO. So it kinda pertains to here as well! :p

Anyways, I don't feel like writing up the whole shebang again, so here's a link to my write-up on another forum:

Holy crapballs! In the words of Carl, that was so frickin awesome. I've often brainstormed ways to do this.....eureka....it's so easy. Turn all of your tanks into highly elaborate toilets .

Thanks for sharing cruizer. I would have liked to see the look on your wife's face while you were doing all this. hehe.

Thats pretty sweet, I was wondering how I could rig an automatic top off where the water came from a tank, not a RO/DI filter. I suppose I would use a tank, pump and 1 or 2 float switches. float gets low, tuns on the pump which fills the tank until the float turns it off. Then I just have to fill the tank once in a while. Now I have to locate some float switches...
