I admire the whole project. He approached it very relaxed... mixed in some turkey and rocket trails... success! Lot's of things to learn from.

Seems that with the amount of money and effort that he put into that he could have just added an addition to the house to place a custom tank. Maybe even a sofa in front of it. Interesting...

I agree with you Hop, he even had a full size backhoe to dig the "heating mass" hole. Im sure he could have built a decent sun room or modest addition for what he shelled out. But you have to admire his perseverence.

LOL, stove elements, toilet seals, concrete blocks, transmission radiator for cooling.... all that's missing is the banjo thermostat, hahaha. I think it's great though - a true DIY accomplishment.
