Would a Glass marker be safe?

I have a DecoArt glass paint marker. The back of the label reads:

"Not for contact with food. Clean surface..."

I have used this marker quite a lot with different applications and I have yet to see a chip in any of my projects after close to year going though the dishwasher sometimes daily.

Would this be safe for use in my aquarium? I am not going to be painting a pane of glass with it ... more like a tiny dot and a few swirls...

Aren't you suppose to bake it for it to be permanent?

Once it's baked, it'll be fine. Hopefully you're not drawing on the aquarium glass and baking it.

the "not for contact with food" kinda concerns me. Doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe, it just might mean they didn't want to deal with the FDA requirements for claiming it's food safe.

Other than that, I don't really know anything about it.
