External Small Water pump

I am building terrarium for a lizard and i have a very small water feature that will have a waterfall coming down off the back of the terrarium to collect in a pool (approx 2'x10"x 2-3"deep) and I am having a heck of a time finding a small external pump with an inlet and outlet to make my DIY waterfall.

Any idea? I do not want to have a submersible pump

You could put a submersible filter in some kind of watertight container so it has an inflow and and outflow tube.

It's the exact same as a canister filter, really, all that most external pumps are are slightly modified internal pumps in an enclosure.

People are too often merely stating an assumed truth from flawed observation.

This is an example of what I mean, of course you'd use a smaller container and pump. and not Gorilla glue!
