White night/moon light revisited

So I tried this:
LED moonlight that actually LOOKS like moonlight UPDATED with video

and had it running for quite a while, but saw these 'led bubble wands" in white on clearance at Petsmart:

Waterproof and everything, sounds good! Here is the result mounted in the hood (not underwater) with plastic ties and grid cloth:

nice! Have you thought of trying to disperse the light more evenly? imo if you could cut down the spotlights it would be perfect

It isn't as pronounced a 'spotlight' effect in person, but that is the best my cell phone camera could do.

I like the white moonlight SO MUCH BETTER than the fake looking blue lights. I dunno who decided that was a good idea hahaha. Maybe if I had a reef tank, but I prefer to throw my money down other holes.
