water in airline

Is there a way to submerge an air hose connected to a diy co2 with out filling with water?

If it's air-tight before you put it into the tank, it wont fill. Connect it to the input and whatever output you use (diffuser, etc) before submerging?

New tank! Micro-Jar, 1 gallon planted jar. Come check it out!

Use a check valve on the output.

even if it does fill with water, the co2 will push the water out as it builds up pressure in the bottle (as long as the seal between the hose and the bottle it tight). this happened for me and i thought the water would be a problem, but it wasn't because it got pushed out by the gas.

just remember the deeper the end of the hose is the more pressure the Co2 must produce to displace the water at the opening.
