Silicone to use for building 1000 liter tank

Only found the following:
GE 1200 HC multipurpose
Wacker General Purpose
Form flex classic 600/7000

They are the only ones that seem to have no harmful ingredients. Has anyone issued these?

Ge SC1200 or RTV 108

I would highly recommend hitting up diy fish keepers as well. Thats a lot of water!

The silicone that I mentioned won't they work? A fish store I buy from uses the formflex silicone to build his 10g and 40g display aquarium.

Will these silicone at least hold 500 or 300 liter water?

Sc1200 is what I use, it's also what aquarium manufacturers use. It's strong and good.

I assume this is for a glass tank correct. The most widely used silicone in every DIY forum and youtube videos I have seen in GE Silicone I for doors and windows. Its the blue container and not the red. Red is kitchen and baths. DO NOT get GE Silicone II. This has additives. I resealed my 55g tank with it and I trust it. No leaks on my first fill. Let it cure for at least 24hrs. Longer is better and then test her out.

Make sure you have adequate bracing and the GE will hold up. 1000 liters is roughly only 265 US gallons. There are many larger tanks built with GE Silcone I without any issues. Don't underestimate its holding power when used glass to glass. Clean the surface good with acetone or equivalent before applying and go at it.

A 55 gallon is about the largest I would use siliconeI on.

For the little bit more and peace of mind I would use rtv 108 or sc 1200

Silicone I - 200lbs per square inch
Rtv 108 - around 410
Sc 1200 - 450

Numbers may be a little off, but gives you a general idea
