125 needs work.

I found a 125 for $250 but it will need some work before it's ready. It was a terrarium with frogs or whatever so it has a sheet of glass in the middle. I was thinking of removing it but I don't know how to remove the silicone.

Other than that I will make it my project to paint the stand black. I can't stand that ugly red. That should be fun since I never done it before. I will not keep the top as it is useless and I want lights up there. The water stain should come out easily with vinegar right?

Instead of painting it would it be better to buy a whole new stand? This stand was homemade and doesn't look very stable. It might be, but I don't want to find out the wrong way.

I can't find a single place to buy one online anyways.

Any help would be much appreciated

unless I can buy a stand some where or if I can pay someone to make one for me. If it wouldn't cost too much.

A about two weeks later and I'm just about done. I reseal the side, took me two times to get it right. The thing I need to do now is attach the braces to the middle. The slimmer one is 6 1/8 inches wide and and big one is 12 7/8 inches wide. Which one would be a better selection to use?

Looks like fun. Remember if the stand was home built it may have been made for a terrarium, which is a lot lighter then a water filled aquarium. I'd double check your supports.
