Anyone try auto drip line?

My overflow box empties in 2 days refilling it is becoming a PITA. Love having an open top it's beautiful and I like looking in from the top but I'm looking for a way to keep the water in the box atleast from emptying every two days. Mind you this is a 50g tank and the overflow box holds maybe 2-3 gallons

you can very easily setup a gravity feed auto top off or there is a little more complicated method of using a float switch inside the tank that controls a pump in another container both these methods are really popular in the saltwater world and a quick google search should help you out alot

Google or reef forum search for ATO (Autmatic Top Off) will get you what you want. Lots of options of various complexity.

Keep in mind that "automated" can be dangerous, make sure you understand what will happen if your design fails!
