Hanging fixture from ceiling - drywall?
I apologize in advance for my possibly naive question - I am new to any kind of home improvement/DIY work.
Today, I hung a Catalina Solar 24" over my tank. I didn't have studs in the right places in the ceiling, so I drilled a pair of Cobra Versa Hooks into the drywall. The hooks come with anchors which basically look like complex regular expansion anchors with little wings (but not comparable to actual toggle bolts). They are rated at 35lbs if used in a drywall, but I'm a bit nervous about this. Do I need to be concerned about this? The whole contraption feels pretty solid and the Solar isn't heavy, but I am wondering if I should find a better solution. A fixture smashing into a 57g rimless tank wouldn't be a pretty thing.
