acrylic tubes?

So i'm going to be taking my time setting up my 90gallon tank. Instead of dealing with the usual black plastic inlet and outlets for the filter i was going to pick up some acrylic tubes and bend/drill them.

But where to buy these? Lowes and home depot don't appear to have these in stock (based on their website). So i am sure there is a good(cheap) supplier online somewhere that people are using. Please fill me in!

I think most people here that used them bought them from a store called Tap Plastics. There may be one near you, but they also sell online http://www.tapplastics.com/

HD & Lowes don't seem to carry any. I've been to several looking. I'll have to order from Tap, they don't have any stores near me, and I've called dozens of companies in the area and no one seems to stock it. They offer to order me some, but by huge cases only. Or for a minimum order of $25 plus shipping. WTH am I suppose to do with all that acrylic though?

I think US Plastics sells it cheaper and has more reasonable shipping rates.

their prices are definitely cheaper... but very misleading. they only sell the extruded in 6' lengths but the price they list is by the foot. you'd think it'd be easier to just list the price per section. But it is nice that they list the interior diameter instead of just the outside. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=22752

i'll be ordering from them once my cfs500 comes in.

thanks
