Come visit me, while you're around! haha. I'm about an hour outside of New Orleans on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Aquarium of the America is one of the better public Aquariums as far as planted tanks go. They have this one display that I just stared at for hours. It was probably around 8 feet wide, four feet tall and four feet from front to back. Packed with Amazon Swords and several groups of Wild Silver Angels. Watching them intereact with each other in an almost-natural environment kept me staying for a long time.

And take everyone's advice, do NOT eat at regular franchise restaurants! They're fine, but some of the best restaurants in the WORLD are in Nawlins so don't waste your time anywhere else! I love Copelands on St Charles or maybe Bubba Gump SHrimp Factory (mmmm, Lt Dan's Drunken Shrimp!)
