Where to buy Mr Aqua tanks

The only place I've come across is Marine Depot and an eBay retailer. MD is out of stock on the particular size I want (6g long/bookshelf) and has an ETA of 4-6 weeks. The eBayer says they have them in stock; I emailed just to be sure (their feedback had some negs about this issue) and they wrote back that they, in fact, do not have them in stock. Does anybody else sell your tanks? Thank you!

There are a bunch of stores around Los Angeles that stock Mr Aqua tanks, but that probably doesn't help you in Michigan, sorry.

Yeah most people that are not near a store that carries our product rely on our online retailers for getting their stuff. But I would suggest if you want to change that go to your LFS and bug them about carrying our product. We sometimes pick up new stores because their customers come in a ask for our product. Seeing a demand from customers is a good shove to start carrying.

Unfortunately, aquaristically speaking, I live out in the sticks; my nearest LFSs are big terrible chains.

No worries, I'm patient. I'm actually starting to consider the 7.5 or 13.3 bowfront. It's going on a shelf that is closed on the sides, so the front view is going to be the most important part. I would have pulled the trigger on the 13.3 already if I wasn't concerned about the weight on the shelf....

Are there any Mr Aqua retailers in the Northern VA area? If so, will they be receiving the new 36x12x12 low iron tanks?

Well we do, but I am not sure that they are going to get any of them. You will be able to get it on Marinedepot.com though.
