I wanted to pass on something that has worked well for me for a few years. I've got a large blue-tongued skink. In warm weather, I've been keeping him in Midwest Ferret Nation cage on my back porch.
It's a good quality cage, and he enjoys it much more than his inside tank. The price is also reasonable.
It's a good way to give him natural sun also.
I've got him in a single unit, but you can buy add on units make it up to 3 stories tall. You could remove the "floor" of the add on units for climbing reptiles like iguanas, and put in wood to give them lots of area for climbing.
A few things to watch out for:
The reptile must be too large to squeeze through the bars.
Don't leave them out during temp extremes, which differ according to the species. I bring him in when it gets below 60 at night, and much about 90 in the day.
It is possible for predatory animals (snakes, rats) to enter through the bars. You may wish to put in in a screened in porch for this reason.
